Patron in Club's Sustainability Move

After the match on 14th June 2014,  that Baba Dogo United FC won 2-0 against Nairobi Sports House FC; around 1815hrs, the club's Patron and legal representative, Advocate Amos Otieno, also presented two sets of full kits (Green&White Tops, Shorts, Stockings and Yellow&Black Tops, Shorts, Stockings) Uniforms in aid of the club's League and Tourney Matches.

This means that the club will now be able to atleast change uniforms and avoid being penalised in case of uniform clash during away matches. Much appreciation to the club's Patron who have always ensured that the club's needs are taken care of, at a time that the club dreams of a sustainable sponsor or resource mobilisation project.

As the technical team will remain in focus of the next match; we as a club maintain our focus and support, in aim of direct qualification to the next level of FKF League next season.

Gracing the 9th straight FKF League Victory with the Launch of New Sports Kits (Uniforms)

It was another step forward towards sustaining the top position in the FKF Nairobi County League, with a deserving 2-0 home win, the evening of 14th June 2015. Francis Oguna, the leading striker and League top scorer scored the first half header from corner kick and in the second half Derrick Owino ensured the win with the second goal from a clinical free kick, 25min from goal, as Baba Dogo United FC won against Nairobi Sports House FC.

The best moment was just before the match kicked off; Aggrey Willis, launched the uniform he purchased in aid of Baba Dogo United FC's League and Tourney matches. The uniform sponsored in early March, came at a time when the club had no usable uniforms at all; and for this reason the club's executive committee and the technical team, players and followers who flocked around Baba Dogo Sports Ground to witness the launch, share their sincere gratitude to our own Aggrey Willis. What else can we share, except to wish Aggrey Willis the best and success in his development ventures. And we as Baba Dogo United FC family, are happy to be associated with a development focused leader as Aggrey Willis.

Legit Status

Finally! The defining moment....

It's been years, to be precise, from 1996 to December of 2014, Baba Dogo United FC operated as an informal entity. February 24th of 2015, the Club claimed its legit status, having finalised all the requirements and is now registered by the Kenya Government Agency, "the registrar of societies and companies".

The history is alive and has defined the authentic nature of BDUFC, as a leader in community sports programming, community football, talent and leadership development. During its informal set up, the Club managed not only to appear at the top of league standings every season, but managed to produce those who are currently playing in the top flight football league in Kenya, and five of the players have since earned caps with the Kenya National Soccer team. Some of the other notable success stories are the established executives, project managers, developmental facilitators, soccer coaches, entrepreneurs and socio-political leaders that the Club produced to date. The big question has always remained, "What greater impact could have been made and how many success stories we would be telling, if the Club was legit, and with formal systems and programmes in place?"

BDUFC is now a legit entity in Kenya, and progressive systems, policies and programmes are in place, with a very dynamic team of executive leaders and technical personnel who are ensuring that outputs are realised, and outcomes and results are achieved.
